The EDF General Assembly

The General Assembly (GA) holds a pivotal role within our organization, with its primary responsibilities encompassing the enactment of legislation, including statutes, and ensuring the oversight of the Council’s activities. Another significant function of the GA is the election of Presidents and Council members, ensuring the continuity of strong leadership within our association.

The EDF Council

The EDF Council is a vital governing body, composed of the EDF President, one of the Board deputies, the remaining Board members, and additional representatives from national branches. Its key responsibilities include overseeing the association’s transactions, making decisions regarding the establishment or dissolution of special working groups, projects and branches, presenting the business report, preparing budget proposals and project lists at the beginning of each business year, and reporting on the execution of resolutions passed by the General Assembly. The Council plays a central role in the effective management and decision-making processes of our organization.

The EDF Executive Board

The EDF Board comprises four key members: the EDF President, two Vice Presidents, and the Managing Director. As the executive body of the association, the Executive Board represents and guides our organization.
