EDF Network

National Branches

Our national branches serve as integral components of our club. At the national level, EDF members convene regularly to discuss and exchange ideas on dairy production. These national EDF groups receive robust support from our national Scientific EDF partners.

If a national branch comprises at least 10 members, it is entitled to a seat in the EDF Council. Each elected national spokesperson in the council represents the interests of their respective national group. Council members convene regularly to deliberate and make decisions regarding the club’s development and activities. It’s mandatory for the national spokesperson to be a dairy farmer. Should a national branch have fewer than 10 members, it is solely represented by the national scientific partner. These scientific partners collectively constitute the EDF Scientific Team for Analysis and Research (EDF STAR), which convenes regularly to execute and enhance EDF benchmarking activities and other projects.

If you’re interested in learning more about the national EDF branch in your country and its activities, please reach out to the national representatives and our scientific partner in your country or visit the branch website.
