General Management
Judit has graduated in agricultural economics (Dipl.-Ing. agr.). She has many years of pratical experiences in dairy farming and is qualified as group trainer and coach. Judit worked as management consultant and dairy economist for several years. Since January 2015 she is conducting the general management of EDF.
Research & Scientific Projects
Steffi has graduated in agricultural science (BSc.) and animal science (MSc.) from the Humboldt University in Berlin. She is responsible for the management of all scientific EDF projects and she coordinates EDF’s scientific Team. She is specialised in dairy economics and benchmarking. Steffi started to work for EDF on a scholarship basis in 2006 and is a full-time employee since January 2010
Back Office
Birgit is a certified Office Administrator. She worked in various companies in the areas of manufacturing and social services in Rendsburg. Since March 2018 she supports Judit.
EDF President
Tom is a dairy farmer from Ireland. He and his brother operate a pasture based dairy farm with about 260 cows. Tom is EDF member since 1994, he was EDF Vice president since 2014 and was elected as EDF President in 2023.
EDF Vice President
Anders is a dairyfarmer from the Southwest Coast of Sweden. He farms an intensive dairyfarm with 280 dairycows, feeding TMR all year around, plus a little bit of grasing for four months. Anders has been a member of EDF since 2010 and in the council since 2011 and where elected as Vice President in 2022. Anders has a degree in Agriculture and has been elected as representant for the dairy sektor for many years.
EDF Vice President
Urs is running a dairy farm in the North of Switzerland close to the City of Winterthur. He is milking 80 cows and delivers his milk to small local cheese processor. Urs is a member of EDF since 2012 an was part of the EDF Council for 3 years before he was elected as Vice President in 2019.
